:::SNOW TODAY:::

SUMMARY FOR THE NEXT 6 DAYS -//> UPDATED FOR TUESDAY, MARCH 9th at 5:42pm (Monday)...Today and Wednesday -> SNOW DEVELOPS TODAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY; The next storm is targeting the 4-corners and northern Arizona-New Mexico/ southern Utah-Colorado with moderate to heavy snowfall. While the storm will be just to the south, we expect enough moisture and instability in place for moderate snow totals today, and light snow Wednesday as moisture decreases (while the storm scoots east). Again, moderate to heavy snow is expected across southern Utah.

Thursday -> CLEARING OUT; Low pressure moves eastward slowly, approaching the Mississippi River Valley area, and leaving behind a slightly unsettled northwest flow aloft across Utah, for just lingering clouds (maybe some isolated snow showers mainly early).

Friday and Saturday -> PARTLY CLOUDY-MOSTLY SUNNY; These look like some pretty nice days, with weak high pressure ridging aloft and milder (but near average) temperatures under mostly sunny skies.

Long range forecast / discussion...March 15 to 18

--A ridge of high pressure (some clouds/ sun, and milder) seems most dominant through the 15th. After the 15th, more Pacific storms move in with frequent snow through the 20th or so of March. The rest of March and most of April still look potentially snowy.
