| In the fall of 1998, Valley Weather Service began
posting a resort specific and detailed 15 day snow and weather
forecast for Mountain High Resort on the internet. Mountain
High resort quickly became sponsors, and other resorts and snow
sport enthusiasts used the forecast all season. Hundreds of
e-mails were received, almost all positive regarding the accuracy
of the forecast. All the major Southern California Resorts;
Mountain High Resort, Snow Summit Mountain Resort, and Big Bear
Mountain Resort sponsored the forecast for the 1999-2000 season,
including Snow Valley starting in 2000-2001'. Copper Mountain
Resort in Colorado started getting their own forecast in 2000-2001'.
Brian Head Resort in Utah signed on for the custom forecast
for the 2001-2002' season. We now provide many resorts with
a custom forecast, and they provide a unique link on their site
homepage or snow report page. This ensures very large amounts
of traffic to snowforecast.com, as does our high search engine
rankings. This season will definitely be a ground breaker into
higher levels of traffic to www.snowforecast.com as 04-05 had
7 million page views and near 900,000 unique visitors...increasing
every year. |
