FORECAST DISCUSSION for Mar 27, 2017

skypic

Light snow (some base-elevation rain mix is expected this morning) is expected today and tonight as low pressure moves in, but most energy cuts south. More snow is expected, mostly in the 2 to 4 inch range daily, through Wednesday. On Wednesday we see snow levels jump up to above 5,000 feet, and some 3 to 6 inches of snow falls above 5,00 to 6,000 feet on Wednesday. It looks like snow lingers on Thursday as low pressure drops south, then Friday through the weekend we are under a high pressure ridge, with sunshine and spring-ish conditions. CM

LONGER RANGE: Please see discussion above.
