THE NEXT 2 DAYS: (this can be copy/ pasted into your website as long as it includes a credit link back to www.snowforecast.com)
Thursday and Friday) High pressure ridging aloft and mostly sunny skies are expected Thursday and Friday, with some upper-level weather disturbances causing clouds at times. Friday night, expect a pretty good looking storm to move in and drop 25cm of snow or so between then and Saturday... Meteorologist/ Chris Manly.

Saturday we expect continued moderate snowfall due to a pretty strong Pacific storm moving through with plentiful moisture and strong dynamics. A portion of this system will be breaking from the main low, and dropping south, so the good eastward push of moisture across the mountains, needed for heavier snowfall, is somewhat hampered/ weakened. That said, we still expect that 25cm or more of snow is a good bet between Friday night and Saturday.

Sunday through next Monday (Mar 1st - Mar 2nd) Another low pressure system moves through, this one with less moisture to work with it seems, for more moderate and not "heavy" snowfall, mainly starting after a partly sunny Sunday. The bases are amazing and so are conditions, therefore this will just be some nice "icing on the cake".

Next Tuesday and Wednesday (Mar 3rd - Mar 4th) A similar system to the Sunday/ Monday one moves through, similar attributes with similar snow totals, though possibly heavier snow with this one. Meteorologist/ Chris Manly.

LONGER RANGE: Expect high pressure over the eastern Pacific to have some effect on southern BC through the 5th/ 6th of March, which still allows for occasional to frequent snowfall to the region as mostly weakened weather systems move through. After March 6th or so, we start to shift to a pattern that opens the door to stronger and larger storms from off the Pacific, affecting British Columbia and Kingfisher/ Revelstoke with heavier snowfalls in this moisture-rich environment/ airmass (on track). Meteorologist/ Chris Manly
