Additional snow accumulations up to 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Big Belt, Bridger and Castle Mountains. * WHEN...Until midnight MDT tonight. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, are likely snow covered and hazardous. Blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. Winds may cause further power outages. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Great Falls MT 922 AM MDT Wed May 8 2024 MTZ320-325-326-330-081700- Big Belt, Bridger and Castle Mountains-Madison River Valley- Gallatin Valley- Gallatin and Madison County Mountains and Centennial Mountains- Including the cities of Trident, Maudlow, Battle Ridge Pass, Bozeman Pass, Deep Creek Pass, Cameron, Ennis, Jeffers, McAllister, Norris, Bozeman, Gallatin Gateway, Big Sky, West Yellowstone, Targhee Pass, and Raynolds Pass 922 AM MDT Wed May 8 2024 ...Snow continues to affect the Bozeman and Ennis areas this morning... Moderate snowfall continues to affect locations around the city of Bozeman, Ennis and Bozeman Pass. Visibility is below a half mile at times, with slushy snow accumulations on roadways at lower elevations, while roadways are snow covered over Bozeman Pass. There will be a quick reduction in snowfall as you go west on Interstate 90 from the city of Bozeman towards the city of Belgrade, with little or no snowfall as you go west. Those traveling trough the Ennis, Bozeman or Bozeman Pass area should be alert for quickly changing road conditions along with areas of poor visibility. $$ Brusda
