Halloween Snow for Aspen, Colorado, and it could be heavy on the mountain!
Pre-Halloween weather will be turning "scary" for gardners and exciting for skiers and boarders!

A strong system will blast in from the northwest Monday and Tuesday, hitting the Pacific Northwest and north Idaho, northwest Montana on Sunday, then southern Idaho including Sun Valley and Bogus Basin late Sunday and Monday, probably on the order of 1-2" for Sun Valley and Bogus Basin, maybe a bit more on the summits, and COLD weather.

 

Monday and into Tuesday we expect snow across northwest Wyoming and northern Utah

On Tuesday we see snow showers develop across Colorado and in Aspen-Snowmass, with a few inches in the town of Aspen on Tuesday and Wednesday, over 1/2 foot up on the mountain. Aspen looks favored on Tuesday, then the front range on Wednesday. Wednesday looks cold, with high temperatures in Aspen possibly remaining below 32F at the base!

The rest of the week (next week, early November) and weekend look cold and busy with snow for the northern and central Rocky Mountains, with at least 2 more storms moving through...
