2 inches to half a foot of snow has fallen so far in northern Arizona, snowing in Flagstaff, and Bryce Canyon Utah! It’s October 7th... according to Flagstaff official weather records this is the earliest they have had snowfall over 1”. Records date back to 1983, so 135 years of records and none match this. We have not completed our outlook for the Southwest or California, but this event and the others going on match the outlook we put out for the Rocky Mountains and Northwest US.
