The Northern Rockies get slammed with more snow, but snow levels…
Tonight through Friday - 8 to 16 inches of snow from Jackson Hole to Big Sky and much of the northern Rocky Mountains, and of course the Cascades (multiple feet there), with Sun Valley seeing a bit less, mostly under 8 inches of snow. The big issue with this storm is snow levels, which for JH and through to Big Sky will be up around 8,000 feet...

Saturday - Mostly sunny across all areas of the western US except for the Cascades and north Idaho and northwest Montana, where snow will be moving back in during the day.

Saturday night and Sunday, another shot of snow moves in, this time with potentially lower snow levels for all areas of the northwest US, but less snow, more light to moderate.

The rest of the west - Will be mostly sunny, Tahoe to Utah, with some snow hitting Colorado (please see local Colorado discussion).
