Updated Sunday, April 5, 2020 - Uneventful the next several days, with sunshine and warmer temperatures through Wednesday, as low pressure and cold air hammers California with rain and mountain snow. The low takes a southern track, and moves toward Colorado on Wednesday, with some showers in Aspen Wednesday night, becoming snow on Thursday, but rain below 9,000 feet (rain and rain/ snow mix in Aspen). If this low moves in on a more northerly track, Aspen will see snow on Thursday... Friday and through next weekend (April 10-12th) expect a cooler northwest flow of winds across the mountains, plus some storms from out of the northwest possibly dusting the area/ western Colorado with snow. This pattern continues through mid April, possibly becoming more "stormy" after the 15th of April with some big spring snow dumps. Meteorologist/ Chris Manly
