LONG RANGE: SUMMER?! Late June? Mid and late next week/ weekend (June 19th - 23rd) expect unseasonably strong low pressure to dominate the northwest US and northern Rocky Mountains, with snow levels dropping to near 4,000 feet (!!!), mostly 5,000 to 6,500 feet, with some snow accumulation across Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming, with Bogus Basin, Tamarack, Brundage, and Sun Valley all getting a summer coating of snow, along with Big Sky, Jackson Hole, and of course more importantly, the backcountry areas of the northern Rocky Mountains above mainly 5,000 feet. More details are coming. CM
