...FLOOD WATCH FOR THE BOREL BURN SCAR IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT
THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flash flooding and debris flows caused by excessive
  rainfall are possible over the Kern County Mountains and Desert
  including the Borel burn scar.

* WHERE...Kern County Mountains and Desert

* WHEN...From late tonight through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Heavy rainfall over the Borel burn scar is expected up
  to and during the period of the watch. Be sure to stay up to date
  with information from local authorities. Excessive runoff may
  result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - National Weather Service Meteorologists are forecasting heavy
    rainfall over the Kern County Mounatins and Desert including
    the Borel burn scar, which may lead to flash flooding and
    debris flows.
