MORNING...

* WHAT...Low temperatures from zero to ten degrees with isolated
  locations reaching 5 degrees below zero above 6,000 feet of the
  Sierra Nevada. Low temperatures of 10 to 20 degrees in the Sierra
  Nevada below 6,000 feet into the adjacent foothills.

* WHERE...Sierra Nevada and adjacent foothills.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM PST this morning.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous frostbite possible on unprotected skin, and
  hypothermia may result if precautions are not taken. Wind chills
  reaching below zero degrees this morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
