...EXTREME HEAT WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING
THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures of 90 to
  100 degrees possible and low temperatures in the upper 60s to
  mid-70s.

* WHERE...Riverside County Mountains, San Bernardino County
  Mountains, and San Diego County Mountains.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Above average temperatures overnight will
  limit overnight relief from the heat. Widespread moderate to
  locally major HeatRisk.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
