AFTERNOON ABOVE 9500 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow above 9500 feet. Additional snow accumulations up to
  two inches.

* WHERE...Flat Tops, Northwest San Juan Mountains, Southwest San
  Juan Mountains, Gore and Elk Mountains/Central Mountain Valleys,
  and West Elk and Sawatch Mountains above 9500 feet.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM MST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Precipitation will continue across the region today, bringing valley
rain and snow above 8-9k feet, then taper off this evening from west
to east. Winter Weather Advisories continue for the Colorado
mountains. Winter driving conditions will persist on mountain passes
today. Travelers should check local road conditions ahead of travel.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Weather conditions will stay quiet this weekend, with some flurries
in the mountains and above normal temperatures. Active weather is
expected to return Sunday night. A series of disturbances could keep
unsettled conditions around through the week, but forecast confidence
in specifics is low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts to the
National Weather Service in Grand Junction.
