* WHAT...Snow expected above 9000 ft. Total snow accumulations
  between 4 and 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Northwest San Juan Mountains and Southwest San Juan
  Mountains.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 8 AM MST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could become difficult at times. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A low pressure system and cold front will bring valley rain,
accumulating mountain snow, and some afternoon thunderstorms. Winter
Weather Advisories have been issued for the San Juans, Grand Mesa,
Flat Tops, and northern mountains above 9,000 feet for 4 to 8 inches
of snow.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Another system may bring another round of rain and snow midweek.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts to the
National Weather Service in Grand Junction.
