This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Mountain snow is expected for areas above 9,000 feet. Travel over
mountain passes may become difficult during the nighttime hours.

Widely scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon with
primary risks of gusty winds and lightning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Unsettled, cooler, and wetter weather continues through mid week.
Periods of mountain snowfall are expected, especially over 9,000
feet.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts to NWS Grand
Junction.
