This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Red Flag warnings continue for the 4 Corners region of Colorado where
afternoon wind gusts in the 25 to 35 mph range will combine with low
humidity. Isolated thunderstorm development will be possible in the
eastern San Juan mountains with lightning and new fire starts the
main threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Dry and warm conditions look to remain the normal through much of
the coming week though mountians thunderstorm development will be
possible. A better push of moisture could arrive late in the week for
an increased coverage of storms.

...AIR QUALITY HEALTH ADVISORY FOR WILDFIRE SMOKE FROM 900 AM
SUNDAY UNTIL 900 AM MONDAY...

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has
issued the following...

WHAT...Air Quality Health Advisory for Wildfire Smoke.

WHERE...Gilpin, Clear Creek, Lake, Rio Blanco, Eagle, Summit,
Garfield, Pitkin and Gunnison Counties. Locations include, but are
not limited to Central City, Georgetown, Leadville, Meeker,
Rangely, Eagle, Vail, Breckenridge, Glenwood Springs, Aspen and
Gunnison.

WHEN...900 AM Sunday August 10 to 900 AM Monday August 11

IMPACTS...Smoke from large wildfires in Rio Blanco is impacting a
large area of central Colorado. Periods of moderate to heavy smoke
are possible throughout the advisory area on Sunday and Monday.

HEALTH INFORMATION...Public Health Recommendations: If smoke is
thick or becomes thick in your neighborhood you may want to remain
indoors. This is especially true for those with heart disease,
respiratory illnesses, the very young, and older adults. Consider
limiting outdoor activity when moderate to heavy smoke is present.
Consider relocating temporarily if smoke is present indoors and is
making you ill. If visibility is less than 5 miles in smoke in
your neighborhood, smoke has reached levels that are unhealthy.
