...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 AM
EST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...South to southwest winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50
  mph expected for tonight into Friday morning and westerly winds 15
  to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected for Friday afternoon
  through late Friday evening.

* WHERE...Northwestern Connecticut, all of eastern and east central
  New York except for eastern Rensselaer and eastern Columbia
  Counties and Windham County Vermont.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest winds gusts within the south to
  southwesterly flow tonight into early Friday morning will be
  across the higher elevations.   All areas will see widespread
  gusty westerly winds Friday afternoon through late Friday evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
