Widespread rain continues this morning with embedded thunderstorms. A few storms may produce hail up to the size of quarters in southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa, mainly after 3 AM. Thunderstorms may develop and move across southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa between 10 AM and 2 PM today. If these storms develop, they may become severe with hail and gusty winds being the main hazards. A brief, isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Additional thunderstorm chances (60 to 80 percent) return on Friday.
