This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for the area. Please refer
to the National Weather Service website at weather.gov/desmoines
for further details.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for the area. Please refer to the
National Weather Service website at weather.gov/desmoines for
further details.

There is an Enhanced Risk (Level 3 of 5) for severe weather across
extreme northern Iowa and a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) for severe
weather for portions of Iowa mainly north of Highway 20 this
evening into the overnight with damaging wind gusts and hail as
the main hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for the area. Please refer
to the National Weather Service website at weather.gov/desmoines
for further details.

There is a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) in for severe weather across
portions of Iowa Thursday and a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) for
severe weather across portions of Iowa Friday.
