This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

Light rain is expected to transition to light snow this evening.
Slick conditions are possible tonight where light accumulations
occur.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Light snow will transition to rain later in the morning to
afternoon Tuesday. Slick travel is expected during the morning
commute.

A period of wet weather is possible late this week into next
weekend, which could lead to renewed rises on some area rivers.
Thunderstorms may be possible at times as well from later
Wednesday into this weekend with any severe weather risk better
determined in the coming days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed, but reports of snowfall are
appreciated.
