This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
     Level 2 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
     Level 1 of 5 Large Hail Risk...up to half dollar size.
  Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A few isolated non-severe thunderstorms may occur into this
evening. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms may develop
overnight, mainly near and south of I-80. A few of these
overnight storms may become strong to severe and will also
produce torrential rainfall that could lead to localized
flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

  Limited Flooding Risk.
  Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
     Level 1 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Sunday...
  Limited Flooding Risk.
  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Monday...

  Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Tuesday through Thursday...
  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are possible on Saturday. A few strong to
locally severe storms are possible, mainly in the afternoon along
and south of the I-80 corridor.

The weather pattern will continue to feature seasonably warm and
humid conditions into next week, with periodic shower and
thunderstorm chances. Some of the storms from this weekend into
Monday may be capable of producing heavy downpours which could
lead to localized flooding.

  Spotters may be needed overnight tonight.
