...EXTREME HEAT WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING
THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values between
  95 and 108 degrees. The worst of this heat is expected to be
  Thursday and Friday...but regardless this will be a prolonged and
  dangerous heatwave.

* WHERE...The Berkshires as well as the south coasts of both
  Massachusetts and Rhode Island excluding the Cape and Islands.

* WHEN...From Wednesday morning through Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This will be a prolonged and dangerous
  heatwave!

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
