...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM FRIDAY TO 1 AM EST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Wintry mixed precipitation including snow, sleet, and
  freezing rain. Total snow and sleet accumulations ranging from 2
  to 4 inches with locally higher amounts up to 4 to 7 inches in the
  foothills of the southern Adirondacks and higher terrain of the
  Berkshires. Flat ice accumulations ranging from a tenth to two
  tenths of an inch with most ice accumulations in the Taconics and
  western New England.

* WHERE...Western Massachusetts, Litchfield Hills, Lake George
  Saratoga Region. and the Taconics.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Friday to 1 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions will likely impact the Friday evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow during the day on Friday will likely be
  wet and heavier in nature before becoming lighter and drier Friday
  night.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
