...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 5 and
  10 inches possible. Patchy blowing snow is also possible Tuesday
  night because of north winds gusting to 30 mph, coupled with the
  falling snow.

* WHERE...Portions of Central Highlands, Coastal DownEast, Far
  Eastern, Interior DownEast, and Penobscot Valley Maine

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant snow,
sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue to

...Icy Roads Developing...

Temperatures which were just above freezing have dropped near or
just back below freezing, and this has led to some roads and
sidewalks icing up. Also, patchy fog and freezing drizzle has
developed and is exacerbating icy conditions in some spots.
