This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Snow showers and gusty winds will develop this morning as much
colder air rushes in over the area. This will cause some slick
spots on untreated roads that were wet and freeze up.

Areas near the lakeshore will see heavier snow showers develop
into the afternoon hours and persist at least into the early
evening hours. This will cause snow covered and slick roads, and
reduced visibilities to less than a mile at times. The snow
showers could persist into the night, and increase the forecasted
accumulations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

An extended period of cold weather with accumulating lake effect
snow showers is expected to cause slick roads much of the time
from late Friday through Tuesday. Areas west of U.S.-131 will be
the most impacted.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
