...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM WEDNESDAY TO 7 PM EST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 8 and
  12 inches. Locally higher amounts of up to 15 inches possible.
  Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Antrim, Charlevoix, and Kalkaska Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 AM Wednesday to 7 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and
  evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

Northern Lower Michigan.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Lake effect snow will increase in coverage later tonight. See the
latest winter storm watch for further details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Accumulating lake effect snow is likely across the snowbelts of
both eastern upper and northern lower Michigan through Thursday.
Significant snow accumulations are possible in those snowbelt
areas, particularly across northwest lower Michigan. See the
latest winter storm watch for further details.
