A significant winter storm is expected to impact the area tonight and Monday, bringing with it gusty winds and accumulating snow. The greatest potential for significant snow is across eastern upper Michigan and the traditional snow belt locations of northwest lower Michigan. Significant ice accumulations from freezing rain are expected across eastern upper Michigan into the tip of the mitt counties of northern lower Michigan this evening as well.
