A quick-moving burst of snow is crossing the area this evening, with quick drops in visibility to under a mile. Roads are becoming snow-covered and slick as this passes through, with an inch or two of snow at most. Blowing snow is also likely given increasingly breezy northwest winds behind this. This burst of snow is expected to reach the Saginaw Bay area by around midnight or 1 AM EDT...with lingering light snow showers possible through the remainder of the night, especially closer to Alpena.
