QUICK BURST OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW LATE THIS EVENING...

A quick-moving burst of snow is crossing the area this evening,
with quick drops in visibility to under a mile. Roads are
becoming snow-covered and slick as this passes through, with an
inch or two of snow at most. Blowing snow is also likely given
increasingly breezy northwest winds behind this.

This burst of snow is expected to reach the Saginaw Bay area by
around midnight or 1 AM EDT...with lingering light snow showers
possible through the remainder of the night, especially closer to
Alpena.

Slow down...leave extra space...brake gently and early...and get
to your destination safely tonight.
