temperatures and humidity. Thunderstorms are possible Friday night
which could bring over a half in of rainfall, adding to the flood

* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central Upper and western Upper Michigan,
  including the following areas, in central Upper Michigan, Alger,
  Baraga, Delta, Dickinson, Iron, Luce, Marquette, Northern
  Schoolcraft and Southern Schoolcraft. In western Upper Michigan,
  Keweenaw, Northern Houghton and Southern Houghton.

* WHEN...Through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central Upper and western Upper Michigan,
  including the following counties, in central Upper Michigan,
  Baraga, Iron and Marquette. In western Upper Michigan, Houghton.

* WHEN...Until 630 AM EDT /530 AM CDT/.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1231 AM EDT /1131 PM CDT/, rain and snowmelt is occurring,
    and will cause flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.25 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Covington, U.S. 141 between Covington and Amasa, Alberta,
    Three Lakes, Sidnaw, King Lake, Ned Lake, Canyon Falls, Bone
    Lake, Herman, Watton and Craig Lake State Park.

.Rain has fallen on a deep primed snowpack, which has led to
snowmelt increasing. Flows in rivers could increase quickly and
reach critical levels.

alternative route.

rivers rising above the current forecast.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Upper
Michigan and western Upper Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

The threat for flooding continues due to snowmelt and potential
rainfall. A Flood Watch is in effect for everywhere except the
far western UP through tonight. See the latest Area Forecast and
Hydro Discussions for details.

Thunderstorms are expected across Upper Michigan late this
afternoon through this evening, with some strong to severe storms
possible over the west half. Some of the storms could produce
damaging hail and wind. See the Area Forecast Discussion for more
details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

River flooding is still possible this weekend.
