...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 4 AM
EST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest winds turning west 20 to 30 mph with gusts around
  45 mph expected.

* WHERE...All of southeast Michigan.

* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 4 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...An occluded front is making its way across
  Lower Michigan at issuance. Once this front goes through, wind
  gusts will ramp up through the morning hours. Upstream
  observations behind the front have sampled widespread 45 mph to
  occasional 50 mph gusts. The highest gusts will be most likely
  along the shoreline of the Thumb region and within snow showers
  that will impact the area this evening. Peak gusts are expected
  from 1 PM today through 5 AM Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
