This hazardous weather outlook is for Eastern Upper Michigan and
Northern Lower Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Lake effect snow showers and gusty winds will linger through the
early morning hours, then taper off. See ongoing Winter Weather
Advisory and Winter Storm Warning for details.

Bitterly cold wind chills continue this morning. See ongoing Cold
Weather Advisory for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Accumulating lake enhanced snow along the northwest Lower Michigan
shoreline counties likely early Wednesday.

Coldest air of the season expected to move into northern Michigan
Thursday night into Friday...with the cold expected to last
through the weekend.

...Areas of significantly reduced visibility...

The combination of light lake effect snow showers and blowing snow
are resulting in pockets of significantly reduced visibility
across parts of northwest and north-central lower Michigan.

Motorists are urged to use caution if traveling. Give yourself
extra time to reach your destination, leave plenty of distance
between you and the car in front of you, and remember to take it
slow in ice and snow!
