This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Upper
Michigan and western Upper Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Another widespread snowfall and wind event is expected to impact
the U.P. beginning tonight. See the latest Winter Weather Message
for additional information.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Widespread moderate to heavy snow continues Friday morning, then
transitions to light to moderate lake effect snow into Friday
afternoon. See the latest Winter Weather Message for additional
information.

Yet another winter weather event is possible Sunday into Monday.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 PM
CDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and
  8 inches, heaviest along and north of US-2. Winds gusting as high
  as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Dickinson and Menominee Counties.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 1 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
  will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
  will impact the Friday morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Prepare for possible power
outages.
