This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Another round of moderate to heavy snowfall is expected tonight
into Wednesday morning bringing travel impacts to the Wednesday
morning commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Light snow continues through the day Wednesday with another round
of moderate snow Wednesday night into Thursday bringing impacts to
the Thursday morning commute. Lake effect snow will likely
continue into the weekend with bitter cold temperatures moving in
for Friday into Sunday morning with wind chills in the teens below
zero and highs in the single digits.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 to
  8 inches with locally higher amounts likely.

* WHERE...Ottawa, Muskegon, and Oceana Counties.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Visibility and road conditions may change rapidly over
  short distances in lake effect snow. Travel could be very
  difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday
  morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates may exceed 1 inch per hour at
  times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
visibility, and road conditions.
