Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Antrim, Crawford, Kalkaska, and Otsego Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel will be difficult at times. The hazardous conditions will impact commutes through New Year`s Day. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Roads will be snow-covered and slippery. Be sure to travel at an appropriate speed for the weather conditions. During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away.
