Northern Lower Michigan.

Elevated fire danger is expected into early this evening.

A few thunderstorms are possible tonight. Severe storms are not
expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

High fire danger is expected Saturday. Please see the Fire Weather
Watch for additional details.

There will be additional chances for thunderstorms Sunday through
Tuesday. Strong thunderstorms are possible Monday
afternoon/night.

SATURDAY EVENING FOR BREEZY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR
FIRE WEATHER ZONES 016, 017, 018, 020, 021, 022, 023, 024, 025,
026, 027, 028, 029, 030, 031, 032, 033, 034, 035, 036, 041, 042,
AND 099...

The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued a Fire Weather
Watch, which is in effect from Saturday afternoon through
Saturday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 016, 017, 018, 020, 021,
  022, 023, 024, 025, 026, 027, 028, 029, 030, 031, 032, 033,
  034, 035, 036, 041, 042, and 099.

* WIND...West winds 10 to 15 mph. Wind gusts 20 to 25 mph,
  occasionally up to 30 mph.

* HUMIDITY...Relative humidity as low as 20 to 30 percent.

 * HIGHEST THREAT...Northeast lower Michigan just away from the
   Lake Huron coast.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.
