...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TUESDAY TO 6
AM CST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation and patchy blowing snow expected. Total
  snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches and ice accumulations
  around a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northwest, and west
  central Minnesota.

* WHEN...From noon Tuesday to 6 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The combination of
  falling snow and winds will lead to periods of blowing snow that
  may briefly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will
  impact the Tuesday evening commute. Gusty winds will bring down
  tree branches.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern North
Dakota, west central and northwest Minnesota.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A brief period of moderate to heavy snow will bring a quick 1 to  3
inches across northeastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota
this afternoon and evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A winter storm develops later tonight continuing through Tuesday
night, with a large range of expected impacts across the region from
accumulating snow, ice, blowing snow, and very strong winds based on
the track of the system. Refer to the latest hazard products for the
latest details.

Much colder temperatures will arrive late week, with a 70 percent
chance for winds chills to drop to -30 or colder.
