Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service Duluth MN 503 AM CDT Tue Jun 30 2026 MNZ010>012-018>021-025-026-033>038-WIZ001>004-006>009-011015- Koochiching-North St. Louis-Northern Cook/Northern Lake- North Itasca-Central St. Louis-Southern Lake/North Shore- Southern Cook/North Shore-North Cass-South Itasca-South Cass- Crow Wing-Northern Aitkin-South Aitkin-Carlton/South St. Louis- Pine-Douglas-Bayfield-Ashland-Iron-Burnett-Washburn-Sawyer-Price- 503 AM CDT Tue Jun 30 2026 This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Two rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms are possible today. The first round would be this morning over portions of the I-35 corridor into northwest Wisconsin. Wind gusts up to 70 mph and hail up to ping pong ball size are the main threats from the morning round of storms. Another round of storms is possible over the I-35 corridor into northwest Wisconsin this afternoon and evening. Severe weather threats will include hail up to golf ball size, damaging wind gusts to 70 mph, locally heavy rain which may cause flash flooding, and one or more tornadoes. Hot and humid conditions are forecast mainly over northwest Wisconsin today. Heat Advisories remain in effect. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Daily chances of thunderstorms are forecast Wednesday through the weekend. Wednesday has the next best chance of severe storms after today with two rounds of storms possible. Main threats will be wind gusts to 70 mph, hail up to half-dollar size, and a small risk of flash flooding. While heat and humidity decrease slightly for Wednesday, the risk of heat-related illness will continue. Additional Heat Advisories may be needed. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
