Strong northeast winds and building waves will lead to a high risk of rip currents this afternoon and evening for Twin Ports beaches. Near-critical fire weather conditions are forecast in far northern Minnesota this afternoon into evening due to low relative humidity and strong south to southeast winds. Hot weather is expected today with moderate Heat Risk Impacts in north-central Minnesota, east-central Minnesota, and into inland northwest Wisconsin. Scattered thunderstorms are expected for much of the Northland tonight. No severe weather is expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Scattered thunderstorms continue on Monday. Some of these storms may become strong Monday evening, with small hail and gusty winds as the main threats. Additional strong to severe storms are possible on Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon and evening. All severe storm hazards are possible.
