This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Areas of dense fog persist through the morning, with the best
coverage near Lake Superior.

Scattered storms early today, with the best coverage in northwest
Wisconsin through shortly after sunrise. A few of these storms
could produce small hail. Rain falling on a melting snow pack may
lead to minor flooding for area rivers along the North and South
Shore, particularly the South Shore. A Flood Watch is in effect
for Bayfield, Ashland, and Iron Counties.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible primarily across
northern Minnesota between 3 PM to 8 PM today. Large hail would be
the primary threat, but lower conditional threats for damaging
wind gusts up to 60 mph and a tornado cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Active weather continues Monday into Wednesday with several
additional rounds of rain and thunderstorms. There is an
additional threat for strong to severe storms Monday afternoon and
evening mainly in northwest Wisconsin and south of the Iron Range
in northeast Minnesota. The main threats would be hail of at least
ping pong ball sized, if not larger. Damaging wind gusts and heavy
rainfall will also be possible, with the best heavy rainfall
potential in northwest Wisconsin. The continued rounds of showers
may lead to an increased flood threat.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Reports of rainfall from spotters and the public are requested.

For the month of April we are actively recruiting for CoCoRaHS,
the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow network. If you
would like to volunteer to become a regular reporter of rain hail
and snow, please visit https://www.cocorahs.org for more
information.
