This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

A few isolated thunderstorms will be possible in north-central
Minnesota, with the potential to produce very small hail and ice
pellets this evening. There is also a 10% chance for snow squalls
in north-central Minnesota during the evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Several periods of rain and thunderstorms are forecast for late
this weekend into early next week. There is a 30 to 80 percent
chance for at least one inch of rain from Saturday evening through
Tuesday morning. This rain combined with snowmelt from areas that
still have snow on the ground could lead to minor flooding.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Snow spotters are requested to report precipitation type, and
measurements of snow or ice accumulations to the National
Weather Service. Spotters and the public can also report
precipitation type with the free M-PING smartphone app.

For the month of April we are actively recruiting for CoCoRaHS,
the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow network. If you
would like to volunteer to become a regular reporter of rain hail
and snow, please visit https://www.cocorahs.org for more
information.
