This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwest Iowa,
west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska,
central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central
South Dakota, and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Snow will develop late this morning into early afternoon and
spread eastward through the evening. After snow ends late this evening,
total accumulations of a trace to 2 inches are expected. A small
band may produce 2-4" near and just south of I-90 but confidence
on the exact location is fairly low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Additional risks for light snow will return Wednesday. While new
snow amount will be less than 1 inch, winds will be more of a
problem with gusts around 30 to 45 mph likely. With the potential
for 1-3" of fresh snowpack in some areas, blowing snow may cause
significant reductions in visibility Wednesday afternoon and
evening.

An arctic front will move south on Thursday, increasing the risk
for blowing snow. Wind chills are expected drop to 25 below to 40
below zero Thursday night into Saturday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
