This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Snow and a wintry mix, including freezing rain, will expand across
the Northland from the south this morning. The wintry mix and
freezing rain will be most likely east of the I-35 corridor into
northwest Wisconsin. Precipitation ends from south to north late
this evening into tonight. Additional snow amounts through
tonight will range from 1 to 5 inches in northwest Wisconsin to 5
to 10 inches in north-central and northeast Minnesota, highest
along the North Shore. Ice amounts from a light glaze to around
0.25 inches are possible in northwest Wisconsin, highest in Price
County. Strong wind gusts up to 30-40 mph near Lake Superior could
lead to some blowing and drifting of snow as well as reduced
visibility. Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings
are in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

A second round of wet, heavy snow and mixed precipitation,
including freezing rain, is forecast for Friday afternoon through
Saturday night. The highest potential for at least one tenth of an
inch is from the I-35 corridor east into northwest Wisconsin.
Heavy, wet snow accumulations will be highest in north-central
Minnesota and along the North Shore. Travel impacts are likely
with this system leading into the Easter weekend. A Winter Storm
Watch has been issued.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Snow spotters are requested to report precipitation type, and
measurements of snow or ice accumulations to the National Weather
Service. Spotters and the public can also report precipitation
type with the free M-PING smartphone app.
