There is a 10-20% chance for a few isolated storms from the Brainerd Lakes east to the St. Croix River Valley late this afternoon into tonight. Severe storms are not expected. Northeast winds to around 10 kt over western Lake Superior and wave heights of 1 to 2 ft may lead to the risk of rip currents this morning into early evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Friday Near critical fire weather conditions due to low RH will persist on Monday and Tuesday for portions of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin due to low RH. Strong northeast winds Monday into Monday evening will likely create a high risk of rip currents for the beaches of the Twin Ports. There is a 30 to 60 percent chance of thunderstorms Wednesday into Thursday and a 20 to 30 percent chance of thunderstorms on Friday.
