A Beach Hazards Statement remains in effect. There is a 10-20% chance of isolated thunderstorms over portions of central and north-central Minnesota late tonight and early Sunday morning. Severe weather is not anticipated at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Strong northeast winds of 10 to 20 mph over western Lake Superior Sunday and Monday will pose a risk of hazardous swimming conditions due to rip currents for the beaches of the Twin Ports. Several rounds of thunderstorms are possible Sunday through Wednesday night. There is conditional threat for strong to severe thunderstorms on Sunday through Tuesday, with the greatest potential on Monday. Large hail, damaging winds, and locally heavy rainfall which could lead to flash flooding are the main hazards. A tornado or two may also be possible. There are additional chances of thunderstorms Thursday through next Saturday. Hot and humid conditions are forecast Monday through Wednesday. The risk of heat-related illness will increase. An Extreme Heat Watch is in effect for Monday in Pine and Burnett Counties. Heat Advisories will also likely be needed. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
