This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Critical fire weather conditions are expected over much of western
Minnesota this afternoon due to low relative humidity values,
strong southwest to west winds and dry fuels. Burning is
discouraged as fires can spread quickly.

Thunderstorms are expected along a strong cold front this
afternoon and evening, particularly over southern and eastern
Minnesota into western Wisconsin. A few storms may be strong to
severe. Damaging wind gusts are the primary hazard, followed by
large hail and potentially a tornado or two.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Near critical fire weather conditions are possible Friday
afternoon over west central through southwest Minnesota.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SKYWARN spotter activation may be needed this afternoon and
evening.
