...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT SATURDAY NIGHT TO
NOON MDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Periods of wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to
  4 inches above 6500 feet.

* WHERE...Gallatin and Madison County Mountains and Centennial
  Mountains, Northwest Beaverhead County, and Ruby Mountains and
  Southern Beaverhead Mountains.

* WHEN...From midnight Saturday Night to noon MDT Monday. Snow levels
  will be lowest during the overnight and early morning hours.

* IMPACTS...Plan on cold and wet backcountry conditions with a
  heightened hypothermia risk for those not properly dressed. Wet
  snow may down trees and block access to forest roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Campers should be aware that it only takes a
  few inches of snow to damage tents and other recreational items.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation.

Consider taking a winter storm kit along with you, including such
items as tire chains, booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets
and extra clothing. Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything
else that would help you survive in case you become stranded.
