...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
MIDNIGHT MDT THURSDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 8 and
  12 inches at pass level with up to 2 feet in the Tobacco Root
  Mountain. Winds gust to around 40 mph could create significant
  blowing and drifting.

* WHERE...Big Belt, Bridger and Castle Mountains and Gallatin and
  Madison County Mountains and Centennial Mountains.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to midnight MDT Thursday Night.

* IMPACTS...Tire chains may be required for some vehicles if
  traveling through mountain passes. Widespread blowing snow could
  significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snowfall rates are expected between
  midnight tonight and 6 AM Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions can
be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or visiting the MDT Road Report website.
