This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern North
Dakota, west central and northwest Minnesota.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Period of sustained northwest winds of 20-25 mph with gusts 30-40
mph will create areas of blowing snow into early afternoon.
Little to no falling snow is expected with these winds, so impacts
look to remain in the advisory range with isolated to scattered
areas with visibilities lower than one half mile.

Extreme cold advisory thru tonight as wind chills drop into the
-30s.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

An Arctic air mass, along with breezy northwest winds, will bring
dangerously cold wind chills into the region through Sunday. Wind
chills Saturday and Sunday mornings could fall as low as -40F.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow,
  reducing visibility at times to below a half mile, especially in
  open country. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
  morning commute.
