northeast New Jersey and southeast New York.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed the area in a Slight Risk for
severe thunderstorms today. The best time for thunderstorm
development would be this afternoon and evening, with the primary
severe threat damaging winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather that
would meet NWS warning criteria.
