...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...South to southwest winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50
  mph expected through this morning and westerly winds 15 to 25 mph
  with gusts up to 50 mph expected for this afternoon through late
  this evening.

* WHERE...Portions of northwestern Connecticut, eastern New York,
  and southern Vermont.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest winds will gust within the south
  to southwesterly flow through this morning across the higher
  elevations. Isolated gusts of 55 to nearly 60 mph are possible in
  portions of the Eastern Catskills and Helderbergs. All areas will
  see widespread gusty westerly winds this afternoon through late
  this evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
