In Vermont, Bennington and Windham Counties. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 35 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. Using non-approved heating devices in your home can lead to fires and carbon monoxide poisoning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The coldest wind chills are expected in the Adirondack Mountains in New York, and the southern Green Mountains in Vermont.
