...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 8
AM EST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 to 60 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Mohawk Valley, Greater Capital District, southern VT,
  western Massachusetts, and northern and eastern Catskills.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 8 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Scattered to widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A line of showers and isolated thunderstorms
  will rapidly track across the region from west to east this
  evening. Winds will quickly shift to the northwest and strengthen.
  While the strongest winds will likely only last for a short window
  (2 to 4 hours) tonight, these winds will be capable of damage
  including downed trees/limbs and power lines. Gusty winds will
  continue through the early morning hours on Thursday but will
  gradually weaken.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Watch for blowing debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must
drive.
