   Winter Weather Advisory.

Strong winds are possible Monday through Monday night, with gusts
possibly reaching or exceeding 45 mph. Lake effect snow is likely to develop
east of Lake Erie Monday through Wednesday with locally heavy
accumulations possible within oscillating bands of snow.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM FRIDAY TO 4 AM EST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
  accumulations an inch or less. Ice accumulations of 0.25" to 0.50"
  across Chautauqua County, and 0.10" to 0.25" across southern Erie
  and Cattaraugus counties.

* WHERE...Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie Counties.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Friday to 4 AM EST Saturday. The majority of the
  wintry mix and travel impacts will be from mid afternoon through
  mid evening Friday.

* IMPACTS...A few power outages and tree damage are possible due to
  the ice, especially across Chautauqua County. Travel could be very
  difficult with icy and dangerous roads. The hazardous conditions
  will impact the Friday evening commute and post Christmas holiday
  travel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will result in slippery
roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while
driving.
