...EXTREME COLD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM EARLY THIS
MORNING TO 1 PM EST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero
  expected.

* WHERE...Lackawanna, Luzerne, and Wyoming Counties.

* WHEN...From 4 AM early this morning to 1 PM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 15 to 30
  minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The coldest wind chills are expected over the
  exposed, higher elevations this morning and again tonight into
  Sunday morning. Northwest winds will be gusting between 35 to 45
  mph at times today. Isolated power outages are possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
