This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern New York, central
Vermont, northwest Vermont and southern Vermont.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Cold temperatures and bitterly cold wind chills are expected
tonight. Minimum temperatures will range from the single digits below
zero to nearly 10 below zero. With northwest winds around 5 mph, wind
chills will be in the teens below zero.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Lighter winds but very cold temperatures are expected again Wednesday
night. Minimum temperatures will range through the teens below zero.
Winds will pick up towards Thursday morning, and wind chill values
will range from the teens below zero to the 20s below zero.

There continues to be considerable uncertainty with the track of a
coastal storm for the weekend. Eastern Vermont has the greatest
likelihood for accumulating snow, but the track of the storm will
have a big impact on amount of snow we see across the region.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
