...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 10 PM
EDT THIS EVENING FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR NORTH
CENTRAL VERMONT...

* AFFECTED AREA...In Vermont, Champlain Valley of Vermont,
  Northeast Kingdom and Central Vermont.

* Timing...The lowest humidities and strongest winds will occur
  between 1 PM and 8 PM on Sunday.

* WINDS...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 32 to 40 percent, but localized
  higher values across the central Green Mountains.

* TEMPERATURES...Highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s.

* Impacts...If any fires were to start the weather and fuel
  conditions could cause fires to quickly get out of control and
  be difficult to contain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that dangerous fire weather conditions
are expected due to the combination of gusty winds, low relative
humidities, and dry fuels. Any fires that develop may quickly get
out of control and become difficult to contain. Remember, a
debris burn ban is in effect for all of Vermont which means no
open burning of debris is allowed.
