This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern New York, central
Vermont, northwest Vermont and southern Vermont.

   Wind Advisory.

Gusty southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts 35 to 50 mph are
expected beginning this evening, especially in the eastern
Adirondacks and eastern slopes of the Green Mountains. Isolated to
scattered power outages are possible.

Snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are possible in the the Green
and Adirondack Mountains Wednesday night. Slow down and use caution
while traveling, especially through mountain passes.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Gusty west to northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts 35 to 50
mph will continue Thursday, especially the eastern Adirondacks and

* WHAT...West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northern New York and central, northwest
  and southern Vermont.

* WHEN...From 4 PM Wednesday to 1 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest gusts will be between Midnight
  and 6 AM Thursday, particularly between Ticonderoga and
  Plattsburgh in New York and between Ludlow and Strafford in
  Vermont.

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
